Après des études de cinéma à l’ESEC Paris, Maxence Muller est sélectionné pour participer à la prestigieuse ASC Master Class, promotion 2015. S’ensuivent plusieurs années à faire l’image de nombreux courts métrages, clips et publicités. Il approfondit aussi sa pratique de la lumière sur d’autres médiums artistiques : pièces de théâtre et installations d’art contemporain.

Depuis 2024, il décide d’exprimer son amour du cinéma en se lançant dans la réalisation. S’ensuivent deux courts métrages : Ceddo, produit par Astou et Poetik Films, et The Voice of the Bird Cagarro, réalisé dans le cadre de la résidence Extática sous le mentorat artistique de Werner Herzog.

After studying film at ESEC Paris, Maxence Muller was selected to participate in the prestigious ASC Master Class, class of 2015. Several years followed during which he worked as a cinematographer on numerous short films, music videos, and commercials. He also deepened his craft of lighting across other artistic mediums, including theatre productions and contemporary art installations.

Since 2024, he has chosen to express his love of cinema by moving into directing. This led to two short films: Ceddo, produced by Astou and Poetik Films, and The Voice of the Bird Cagarro, created as part of the Extática workshop under the artistic mentorship of Werner Herzog.
